Looks like I need (at least) an 8th keeper if anyone's selling cheap...
Also willing to deal anyone provided the deal makes sense for me
That doesn't mean I want your 9th and 10th keeper, 3 fringe GmLs you should probably just cut and your 12th and 14th prospects for Bogaerts and Hiura but if you have a proposition that makes sense for me on some level then I'm all ears...
And no need to go through the whole "what would you want for..." feeling out process - just start with names please. No ones got time for that bullshit!!

All or one of Travis Shaw, Mike Moustakas, Yadier Molina, and JA Happ might be available. I’m looking for prospects and draft picks. I’m also thinking of making my 2020 4th round Majors pick available in the right deal. A pick that high would especially help a rebuilding team.
Send me a note if you have some ideas.

EE, Cano, Hicks, Morton, Keuchel, Freeland...all reliable contributors, and available...as are the multitude of pitching prospects currently in my farm system.
Could be a very odd year with closers as well. More and more uncertainty around the league, with scarcely half the teams having someone you can truly count on for saves. And tbh, those reliable sources will be someone's keepers. So with all that said, I'm also open to dealing one of my big three...Aroldis/Kenley/Wade...to improve elsewhere.

Haha I guess one could think I am posturing here, but I really would prefer to throw all of those guys back into the pool if there isn’t a worthwhile baseline trade opportunity. That’s why I used the word “might.” But if you’re talking instead about the quality of these players, all would have been keepers on your team last year:
Happ: will again get 17 wins and 190+ Ks Molina: top 5 C Shaw: 1 of 4 2nd basemen in MLB to hit 30+ home runs Moustakas: 28 and 95- enough said
Increasing the supply of available quality players is worth more to me than a fringe prospect or down-ticket draft pick. Happy to talk trade if anyone has interest.

Happy to talk trade if anyone has interest. Whoa mate...you seem a wee bit defensive over the products you're pitching there??? I was talking about the possibility that you *might * make your 2020 *4th round* majors pick available and that being *the* missing piece for any rebuilding team but if you insist on diving into the merits of those players... Happ - has struck out more than 163 exactly once in his career - to go along with the 2 times hes won more than 12 games in a season. Seems unlikely he matches career bests during his age 37 season but he is going to the one franchise that still encourages and covers up rampant PED use so I suppose its possible. Molina - being a top 5 catcher is sort of like being one of the tallest midgets at a dwarf convention. Shaw - Nice enough hitter but can he play 2nd?? Clearly he sucks at it and they just resigned Moustakas...he could be on the bench by May if Hiura keeps raking... Moustakas - maybe Shaw plays some third? Good for him, not so much for Moustakas...
And then there's the absurdity of you saying you won't trade any of these fringe keepers for "fringe prospects or down-ticket draft picks" but that's not my problem because obviously we're never going to trade with one another...though I am slightly curious as to what you'd want for your 2020 *3rd round* majors pick...that could be the rebuilding piece that puts me back on top!

Haha yikes, you sure went deep into this. Reasonable people can disagree, and yeah, you’re right, it looks like we’ll never be a trade match here. But I stand 100% behind everything I wrote. Especially not wanting to trade for fringe prospects and draft picks.

Prospects for sale...
Ive got a bunch of prospect depth
If you want the rarely orchestrated breaking a dollar for four quarters trade, by all means hit me up!
Also willing to move prospects for draft picks or keepers post 3/1 that you have no use for if youre thinking of tanking!

Ready to waive the white flag on 2019. Just about my entire team is available. (Sanchez, Rosario, Severino, Acuna, Moncada, Andujar, and Mejia are the exceptions.) Looking for pieces for next year, and my minor league roster doesn't have much space.

I'm looking to deal my 2nd round 2019 June draft pick for a closer. A lot of good players left in the draft. Hit me up if you are out of it and have a closer available.

Looking for pieces for next year, and my minor league roster doesn't have much space. Dan F. pointed out that I have a thing for Latino ballplayers, lol. I was also being sarcastic with my last post, fwiw, except for the part about the time-proven cost to acquire a run of the mill closer. Anyhow, they're all still available. Make me a reasonable offer, contenders!

haha thanks Yanks, I know you were being sarcastic. But you do raise a good point. I offered my 2nd rounder after most/all of the 1st rounders were used up, there remain many good players in the draft, and a "closer" as you mentioned it is not the same as it has been. There are like 15 reliable closers, the rest are in committees or of risk losing their jobs. So a 2nd rounder in this new market for a rental is at least plausible. But it might not be for everyone. Happy to talk if anyone wants to deal a closer.
