The 15 day trial for prospects has been abused for years, so it will be severely limited asap. Every year it's someone new abusing things to the point where I've lost patience. True's done this before, as an example, but his recent temporary promotion of Bichette is what this rule was intended to accomplish. Trading players between rosters every 15 days to manipulate things is not the intention. As a result, these temp promotions will be limited to roughly 3 players per season per team. Anyhow, just giving the heads up so you guys can plan ahead.

Could you please clarify this for me? Examples of intended use vs. manipulative use would be appreciated.
Last year Nick and I called up and sent down Austin Riley, Vlad Jr and Victor Robles, in early June, mid July, and early August, respectively.
As the day-to-day manager, all I knew is that players could be called up for a two-week period — I knew nothing specifically more about the rule than that — and so I looked for minimal off-day stretches where they could get some play. Nothing malicious was intended.
Thanks.

Everything that has been done (for years) has technically been w/in the rules. It was a loophole that many teams have exploited. Last year I was busy, not around much, and got my panties in a bunch having tired of everyone using the loophole year after year.
Players can be called up to test the market for 15 days. It was never intended to be an ongoing thing, going from one player to another all season long...effectively holding an extra roster spot. In any case, I'll simply place a reasonable cap on it. There's a cap on the moves allowed for a specific player, but now I'll limit the 15 days tests to a certain number for a team as well and call it a day.
I'm just not sure what number to use. Whether it's 3 or 5 or 7, it doesn't stop you from promoting someone and leaving him up...this will be only for the 15 day test runs.
