everything i've seen has been one start for sure. lots of unknowns still. nevertheless, after 9/6...the 5th day off...you can virtual DL him (on 9/7) retroactive to 9/2. he will then need to spend a minimum of 15 days on the virtual DL (9/2 - 9/16), so could theoretically be brought back on 9/17 if he recovers.

^ thanks. if I see anything to suggest that it's a simple one-start miss before end of 9/6 I'll refrain from placing him on virtual DL.
**Also requesting Billy Hamilton for virtual dl, he's missed a start (9/5) and to be reevaluated in 5-7 days - move will of course be made effective for 9/10 w/ min DL date for 9/19.
Also wanted to note that I already have 5 players on the yahoo DL. I am prepared to activate some players close to returning (diaz/cole) if total DL players (yahoo + virtual) cannot exceed 5. There wasn't anything in the rules covering this so I just wanted to be upfront about it.

added deGrom to the list.
Hamilton can be added 9/10, assuming he doesn't return. it would be retroactive to 9/5, and yes at least until 9/19 if added.

Carlos Carrasco and Keon Broxton to virtual DL - Both out for the rest of 2016. They're both out, but the moves were made prematurely. Broxton last played on 9/16, so on 9/21 you can make the move. Carrasco screwed you by pitching (to a batter) yesterday (9/17), so on on 9/22 you can make that move.

- This only applies to players on a team's 25-man MLB roster that are not placed on the DL in yahoo during the month of September. - If they are placed on the DL in yahoo...they'll either have to be placed in one of the team's 5 available DL slots, or be left active...if the team chooses to hold onto the asset/player, that is. - If a MLB player has missed 5 consecutive games in September, and there's a "known" injury involved...yet yahoo (& the MLB team) fails to place the player on the DL...then the team in the league may utilize our virtual DL, retroactive to the 1st (consecutive) game that the player missed in September. - The commish will maintain a "virtual DL" thread every September. But once a team posts a move to the virtual DL, they are allowed to drop the asset on yahoo...yet still maintain control/ownership of that player...either until the player is removed from the virtual DL by that team, or until the end of the season...whichever comes first. - Once a player is placed on the virtual DL, he must spend a minimum of 15 days on that virtual DL. If it's retroactive to a certain date, the 15 days begin from that point. (Common sense.) - And obviously, if a player is recalled from the virtual DL in September (or early October)...after the 15 day minimum has passed...a roster spot must be cleared on yahoo for the addition to be processed. If a player is not recalled from the virtual DL by the end of the season, the asset will be treated no differently than any other player on the 25-man roster or the DL, in terms of heading into the off-season. - Lastly, if a player placed on the virtual DL has met his 15 day minimum stay...but has been active (playing) for his MLB team...the team owner must then recall that player w/in 48 hours (2 days). Bottom line...this isn't meant to be a "virtual" place to stash an asset w/out just cause. If the injured (non-DL'ed) player returns to action in real life somehow, then the league owner must do the same (with his roster) in a timely manner.
