shoot. i missed that you promoted wilson ramos on 5/4. will make him a GmL-3, and you'll be 1 minor leaguer short...at least until you replace him there.

Sent you an email about this for a quick clarification, but if I assume correctly, then I can fill that spot however I wish on my minor league roster.
Add Adeiny Hechevarria, SS, TOR to my Minor League roster if the process works like I think it does.

updated the 1st post to add Arguelles & Arrieta to your minor league team...and add the 2 additional draft picks acquired...via our trade.
Clear...you currently have 2 too many minors though. you don't necessarily have to drop anyone, fwiw...there are other moves you can make. you can promote 2 players to the majors...or you could promote 1, and drop 1. also, because this was a result of a trade, you are not required to carry the 15+5 ratio (w/ the june draft). you could go to 16+4 if desired as well.
in any case, lmk if you have any questions w/ the rules. you have a couple pitchers (chacin/arrieta) that you could promote, if wanted. and you have a june pick (parker) who i believe decided to go back & play football this week. in other words, there's stuff you can do to not have to drop anyone...and maintain all your assets.

I actually have a couple questions on the rules. If I trade for 5 minor league players, I could hypothetically carry 20 players and none of them have to be 2010 June picks? I had thought the rules were you had to carry 5 June players, but you could carry more than 5 if it was a result of a trade. Does not matter one way or another, just looking for clarification.

I had thought the rules were you had to carry 5 June players, but you could carry more than 5 if it was a result of a trade. Does not matter one way or another, just looking for clarification. JUNE DRAFT One week after the MLB draft (in June) a draft will be conducted of those players only. This will allow everyone a fair shot of getting rights to these players. This draft will operate under the following guidelines: • Draft order will be determined in reverse order of the league standings on June 1st. • Only players selected by a major league club in that year’s amateur entrance draft will be eligible. Foreign/International players, once signed to a contract, are not eligible until the following year’s minor league draft. • Minor League rosters will expand to 20 at this point, provided the 16th thru 20th players were drafted in the June Draft. Owners may not cut players to obtain additional June picks…but they also are not forced to increase their minor league roster to 20 players either, if they prefer to forego any of their June draft picks. That said, from the June draft to the end of the year, a minor league roster can be no more than 15 players + 5 from the June draft…theoretically, because there is one exception. In theory, the June draft is designed to give a team 15 minor leaguers plus 5 more from the June draft…bringing the total to 20 players for the remainder of the year. That said, sometimes via trades/etc, that balance gets thrown off by a player or two. And since active trading is encouraged in this league, that’s the one exception to the 15 & 5 rule. You are allowed to go to 14 minors & 6 from the June draft…or conversely, 16 minors plus 4 from the June draft…if trades are the reason your minor league rosters have been thrown off a bit. But again, +/-1 as a result of deals is the only exception here…as from June on, each team (in theory) is allowed 15 minor leaguers and 5 from the June/amateur draft.sry for the clutter, Clear. but it's a good question, and is explained in the bolded part of the constitution above. +/- 1 to answer your question, Fondy...so 5 would be too many. the intent is basically 15 minor leaguers...20 is jsut temporary...and a source for replacements when others fromt he 15 graduate. you prolly don't remember, but we came up w/ that together. we used to not go beyond 15+5...you prefered a bit of wiggle room...so we came to that +/- 1 quite a ways back.

Drop Kyle Parker Promote Jake Arrieta done. just keep your eye out in case he changes his mind. hard to pass up the starting QB job, and all the pussy that comes with it...unless that MLB offer approaches 3 million, that is. also, once the deal goes thru yahoo...moyer will be on the DL, so you can p/u Arrieta there.
